The Fit Cake franchise is the first Polish chain of 'no confectioneries' to offer desserts (including cakes, bars, ice cream or creams in a jar) and cakes without added sugar and gluten, including many vegan, keto, low fodmap and lactose-free offerings. Fit Cake is also a flexible franchise system, tailored to the franchisee's needs and wallet. But Fit Cake is even more than that - it is a philosophy of helping those who need it most. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Niecukiernia\" pro publico bono cooperates with foundations caring for diabetics and people with coeliac disease and regularly conducts, among other things, workshops for diabetic children and supports events for them. She is in regular contact with the diabetes unit of the University Children's Hospital in Bialystok. For its patients, she developed a special 'Chocolate Teddy Bear' brownie bar based on red beans together with the Teddy in an Apron Foundation. Earlier this year, the clinical hospital received a specialised SECA newborn baby scale. It will be used to weigh the youngest babies. With its help, medics will monitor whether babies are developing properly. The cost of such a scale is approximately one thousand zlotys.<\/p>\n

In 2021, the chain set up the Fit Cake Foundation \" BEZCUKROWI \". Its aim is to help children with diabetes and improve the living conditions and treatment of young patients. It is also about educating parents and making them aware that diabetes is not the end of the world. Their children can reach for sweets that are safe for them, without having to worry about their health deteriorating. Last year, together with the Teddy Bear in an Apron Foundation, Fit Cake handed out diaries, dedicated to diabetics, to young patients at the diabetes unit of the UDSK in Bia\u0142ystok. Now they are also being distributed in other regions of Poland, in Pomerania, Mazovia, Warmia and Mazury.<\/p>\n

We pursue our mission by promoting and educating on healthy eating. We want to change the eating habits of Poles for the better. We have established partnerships with associations and organisations across the country supporting people with dietary problems. As a brand, we have done a lot of charity work, but now we are going a step further. We will be urging our franchisees to also get involved in the daily life of the local community in their cities.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Fit Cake helps hospital in Rzesz\u00f3w<\/h2>\n

A good example in the network is a caf\u00e9 in Rzesz\u00f3w. The owners prepared a sweet table for Women's Day for the mums and carers of patients at the paediatric onco-haematology unit of the hospital in the city. Earlier, on Fat Thursday, they enjoyed healthy doughnuts from the 'non-bakery.<\/p>\n

The cooperation between Fit Cake from Rzesz\u00f3w and the Children's Oncohaematology Ward of the Children's Clinical Regional Hospital No. 2 in Rzesz\u00f3w is coordinated by the ISKIERKA Foundation www.fundacjaiskierka.pl, which has been supporting the ward in many ways, including the young patients and their families. It currently has over 700 wards under its care from four oncology centres in Poland: Chorz\u00f3w, Katowice, Rzesz\u00f3w and Zabrze, both during and after oncological treatment.<\/p>\n

There are many ways to help, but the important thing is to do it sensibly and choose those areas that absolutely need support. The Fit Cake brand has always declared itself in favour of eco and zero waste, and has recently joined the green revolution.<\/p>\n

Symbolically, we planted some trees, the long-lived ones: oaks, lime trees and pines not far from Bialystok, where we come from. But we also decided to act more widely by cooperating with the Posadzimy.pl portal, which brings together a community involved in ecology. It supports municipalities from all over Poland, planting trees in their areas on behalf of itself and its partners. Fit Cake contributed as many as 100 new trees this autumn. This year we also want to take part in this action and plant at least twice as many trees.<\/p>\n

Franchising takes a systemic approach to certain things. This means that the sugar-free cake offered by a fit confectionery in Warsaw, Rzesz\u00f3w or Wielu\u0144 is supposed to be exactly the same.<\/p>\n

This is important, but the most important thing about our business is and always will be our customers, who need to feel that the Fit Cake caf\u00e9 is a place that is alive and involved in the everyday life of the local community. Although we can't help everyone, we still want to help, and it is the franchisee who knows best if there is a vital relief effort in their area for a child in need.
